Call for Rapporteurs: SAYWHAT National Students’ Conference

Students And Youth Working on reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT) is a membership-based public health social movement organization founded in 2003. SAYWHAT’s mission is to promote students, youth, adolescents and children’s access to health and education rights, services & commodities across Africa with a broader vision of Generations of Healthy and Empowered Young People.

 

SAYWHAT is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to serve as rapporteurs for our upcoming SAYWHAT National Students’ Conference (NSC) to be held on the 5th and 6th of December 2024 at the ZESA National Training Centre, Belvedere, Harare. The conference will be running under the theme “Students Thriving and Achieving Results – STARs transforming health and education outcomes”.  We invite applications from interested candidates with excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.

Role of the Rapporteur:

As a rapporteur, you will be responsible for:

 

    • Attending all NSC sessions and taking detailed minutes

    • Capturing key discussions, decisions, and action plans

    • Preparing comprehensive reports on meeting outcomes

    • Identifying key themes, trends, and recommendations

    • Providing a summary of proceedings for dissemination to stakeholders

Requirements:

 

    • Strong writing, listening, and analytical skills

    • Ability to work independently and under pressure

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Familiarity with the health and education sector

    • Availability to attend all conference session and proceedings
