SAYWHAT is announcing an open call for visual artists interested in creating visual art portraying SRH challenges faced by young women and girls.
SAYWHAT is implementing the “Asingade/unwilling” Campaign. Asingade campaign is dedicated to raise awareness on challenges linked to teen, early, and unplanned/unintended pregnancies with the goal to flag out legal frameworks and referral pathways for available SRH services. To achieve the objectives of the Asingade Campaign, SAYWHAT will host a Gallery Night that will exhibit selected visual arts on these public health concerns and engage in discussions that will reduce stigma and discrimination to the affected population.
SAYWHAT is therefore inviting talented visual artists interested in contributing to the Asingade Campaign to submit their entries. Entries can include interactive story telling pieces or lived reality experiences including but not limited to: –

Blind adjudication of the entries will be done by a team of seasoned public health professionals. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to exhibit their products during the Gallery Night thereby contributing to child safeguarding and advancement of sexual and reproductive health and rights for women and girls.
Young people between the ages of 18 to 35 in Zimbabwe are eligible to respond to this call. Persons with disabilities, Adolescent Girls and Young Women are highly encouraged to apply.
