CRIF Project

The Children’s Rights in Full (CRIF) Project was implemented in 2 districts of Hopley and Epworth in Harare, Zimbabwe with support from UNICEF.

 

Project Goal: Improving child protection systems in Zimbabwe through strengthening the post-trial psycho-social support and coordination of legal services providers in the selected districts. SAYWHAT focused on strengthening systems and process that enables children to live in safe and more conducive environments that promotes their socio-economic growth and respects their fundamental rights, freedom, and liberties within the confines of the Constitution of Zimbabwe.

CRIF complemented government and rights-based CSOs in mobilizing juvenal offenders, linking them with legal services provides and assisting them in ascertaining their human rights. Additionally, assisted the reintegration of juvenile offenders into their families and developmental institutions such as schools using the Human Rights Based Approach and provision of psychosocial support.
