Condolence Message on the passing on of Hazel Jojo

Students And Youth working  on reproductive Health Action (SAYWHAT) has learnt with sadness the untimely passing on of Hazel Jojo on the 1st of May 2023 after a fatal accident.

 

Hazel was a Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) advocate par excellence. Her dedication to promoting healthy living among young people and students was truly exceptional, and her passion for the cause was evident in everything she did.

 

Hazel’s loss will be felt deeply by young people and students in Zimbabwe and beyond. Her tireless work to ensure that young people had access to vital information and resources related to SRHR was an inspiration to us all, and her legacy will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.

 

During this challenging time, we offer our deepest condolences to Hazel’s family, friends, and colleagues. May you find comfort in the knowledge that Hazel’s work made a real difference in the lives of so many young people, and that her memory will continue to inspire us all to work towards a healthier,  and more equitable world for everyone.

 

Hazel will be laid to rest Wednesday 3 May 2023 at Warren Hills cemetery.

 

May Hazel’s soul rest in eternal peace.
